TeachingAngela teaches private students in her studio as well as working with public school and college choirs as a staff accompanist and commissioned composer.
She is a member of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association. Angela has served as Chair of the OMTA and MTNA Composition Competitions and on the state Theory Committee. |

Angela Marshall enjoys inspiring her students to unlock their creativity and musical potential. She has done graduate level research in both classical and popular pedagogy and incorporates a wide variety of musical styles in her teaching. Angela encourages creative thinking and a lifelong love of music through the piano.

Academic Background |
Angela holds a Masters of Music Education in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelors of Science in Music from East Central University. She has presented both scholarly and creative research and performed in competitions, master classes, and recitals across the United States and Europe. Notable awards include the Lynn Freeman Olson Award for pedagogical piano composition, Best Art, Music or Dance Paper at the Alpha Chi Super-Regional Conference, and Grand Prize in the ECU Centennial Interpretations Showcase.
